Ensure that the feature is activted in Site Actions > Site Settings > Site Collection Administration > Site Collection Features
Turn on the Show Applied Filters option and verify that what your sending matches the field names in the receiving web part.

I see this error on the list web part, what does it mean?
This occurs if you are sending a filter with a Filter Name that doesn't match a field in the list view web part. Please double check the names is use - you can verify the information being sent with the Show Applied Filters option.
